    Automotive Services of Austin is a very busy centrally located automotive business in the Austin/Mueller area. We are looking for a few qualified Automotive Technicians to join our team. We offer very competitive pay with the option of Salary or Commission.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and repair foreign and domestic automotive vehicles as well as light Diesel
    • Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
    • Application of in-depth automotive repair knowledge
    • Providing service of the highest quality to our customers
    • Performs skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
    • Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles
    • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
    • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
    • Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
    • Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments

    ​Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of previous on-the-job experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
    • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
    • Ase Certification is a plus but not required
    • Must have your own tools
    • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Must be reliable and dependable
    • Self-motivated and must be able to perform the job efficiently with minimal supervision
    • Bilingual is a plus(Spanish/English)

    Responsabilidades:

    • Diagnosticamos y reparamos vehículos automotores extranjeros y nacionales así como Diésel ligero
    • Realizar afinaciones y mantenimiento de vehículos de rutina.
    • Aplicación de conocimientos profundos de reparación de automóviles.
    • Brindar un servicio de la más alta calidad a nuestros clientes
    • Realiza trabajos mecánicos especializados mientras analiza y diagnostica problemas.
    • Inspeccione, reemplace y/o repare las piezas defectuosas mientras realiza el mantenimiento preventivo de los automóviles.
    • Aprenda continuamente nueva información técnica y técnicas para mantenerse al día con la tecnología automotriz que cambia rápidamente
    • Demostrar comportamientos coherentes con la visión, la misión y los valores fundamentales de la empresa en todas las interacciones con clientes, compañeros de trabajo, gerentes y proveedores.
    • Cumplir con todas las políticas, procedimientos y estándares de seguridad de la empresa.
    • Mantener un área de trabajo segura, limpia y organizada.
    • Proporcionar mano de obra y estimaciones de tiempo para reparaciones automotrices.
    • Inspeccione y pruebe los vehículos para los ajustes necesarios.


    Calificaciones:

    • Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia previa en el trabajo como técnico automotriz, mecánico u otros campos relacionados
    • Conocimiento de equipos de diagnóstico y reparación.
    • Gran aptitud mecánica y habilidades para la resolución de problemas.
    • La certificación Ase es una ventaja pero no es obligatoria
    • Debe tener sus propias herramientas
    • Debe tener transporte confiable y una licencia de conducir válida
    • Plazo y orientado a los detalles
    • Debe ser confiable y fiable.
    • Automotivado y debe ser capaz de realizar el trabajo de manera eficiente con una supervisión mínima
