Main accountabilities include:
- Performs operational duties at the Fuel Facility/Hydrant System
- Comply with the Menzies Aviation Attendance/Tardiness/Code of Conduct Standards
- Performs routine and periodic inspections and maintenance in compliance with company, customer, and government and industry standards.
- Makes required log entries of quality control and maintenance discrepancies, their continued statuses, and plan for closeout within the maintenance database.
- All maintenance tasks will be coordinated with the supervisor or operator onduty, so they are aware of start, stop, and status of ongoing repairs at the fuel facility.
- Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state, and federal safe work policies/procedures.
- If scheduled, MUST be present for shift turnover briefings at the beginning and ending of each shift.
- Frequent facility walkthroughs to determine additional discrepancies not noted during operator inspections.
- Management has the right to assign miscellaneous tasks for operational/maintenance needs, including back filling facility operators should the need arise.
- Complete all training requirements in a timely manner.

- Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of all aspects of equipment used in the operation.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school in hydraulics, industrial electricity, and pneumatics; or 5 years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of all education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Possess/maintain a valid driver's license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
- Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required.
- Prior management, supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass preemployment drug screen and all preemployment testing.
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
- To report any significant deficiency in our products, materials, and documents
- Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to safety and security.
- 40Hour HAZMAT Certification
- OSHA Train the Trainer
- Incident Commander Certified
