Located in the Public Relations department, we are currently seeking to fill the following position as soon as possible:
Employee (m/f/d) in Public Relations and Science Communication

This part-time position is limited to 20.00 hours per week until December 31, 2025.

What are the main tasks?

  • Identifying newsworthy topics within the university in the areas of research and transfer and communicating them effectively to target groups
  • Creating and editing texts for external communication, with a focus on research and transfer topics in cooperation with research marketing
  • Creating content for the website
  • Monitoring media coverage
  • Photographically documenting publically relevant university events
  • Assisting with editing and project management for university publications
  • Internal communication
What are the requirements?

  • Proficient in German and good knowledge of English, with a strong sense for written communication and experience in creating texts according to journalistic criteria
  • Expertise in PR/professional
