- Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments:

- Responsible for building security, including entrance/exit control and cash office.
- Ensures emergency exits are clear and conducts regular fire alarm tests.
- Customer Service:
- Interacts with Customers, Associates, and leaders with respect and professionalism.
- Demonstrates courtesy and acknowledges Associates using Company recognition programs.
- Personal and Store Brand:
- Represents the Company brand at all times.

- General Merchandising:
- Oversees merchandising tasks to Company standards.

- Loss Prevention:

- Front End Supervision and Operations:
- Manages Front End operations effectively and coaches Associates on best practices.
- Maintains a productive Front End area and ensures salability of merchandise.
- Supervises cash registers and controls the break schedule.
- Fitting Rooms:
- Oversees the cleanliness and maintenance of Fitting Rooms.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies for returned merchandise.
- Administrative Duties as Assigned by Store Manager:
- Handles cash transactions and payroll administration.
- Completes administrative tasks as delegated by the Store Manager.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
- Ability to operate Store equipment.
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting items as needed.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and climb as necessary.
- May need to lift items weighing more than 25 lbs.

The Area Supervisor is a key member of the Store Leadership team responsible for overseeing a specific area of the Store's operations and leading the team when acting as the Manager on Duty.
