Your tasks in Burgess, MO will include:

  • Acting as the interface between Operations and Business, from the bidding process to series production (G10-G90) and for change management (after G90)
  • Coordinating product and process industrialization with the goal of meeting quality, budget, and production objectives
  • Determining labor, machine, tool, and investment costs, as well as preparing investment requests
  • Creating specifications and providing technical support for supplier selection
  • Conducting feasibility studies and capacity analyses, and providing information for risk assessment in the Operations/Project Industrialization area
  • Managing work packages for industrialization, providing necessary information at the plant level, and obtaining internal approvals and escalating issues
  • Optimizing existing manufacturing processes and implementing and tracking change requests (Change Process)
  • Reviewing completed projects for lessons learned

Profile:


  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, production technology, or similar, or completed technical training with relevant knowledge and experience
  • Several years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Indepth knowledge of production technology and lean management
  • Several years of experience in project work
  • Good English and excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Teamwork, resilience, and assertiveness
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
