Ensure smooth bill payments by verifying invoices and resolving discrepancies. Verify proper payment approvals and categorize them in our system. Scan receipts and keep track of deadlines for on-time payments.

Qualifications
-
Skills & Experience:

High School Diploma (minimum)
Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable
A/P Full Cycle Experience (?? hitsuyou, required in Japanese)
Experience with accrual accounting
Proficient in data entry, math, and calculator use
Experience with Dynamics software (a plus)

Highly organized and detailoriented
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment with high invoice volume
Meet deadlines and take advantage of discounts promptly

Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing & Verification:

Process inventory and expense invoices following proper approval limits.
Verify sales tax is being paid correctly.
Take advantage of available discounts in a timely manner.
Code invoices to the appropriate chart of accounts code.
Reconcile vendor statements to ensure account accuracy, contacting vendors when needed to maintain current information.

Month-End & Year-End Close:

Complete monthend accruals within the first 2 working days of each month.
Obtain all proper documentation to ensure compliance with IRS guidelines for yearend 1099s.
