Centenary is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are searching for candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH in Dessau-Roßlau. The vocational school and training workshop are also located in Dessau-Roßlau. After successfully completing the apprenticeship, you will work at our plant in Chemnitz.
During your training in Dessau, we will provide you with a dormitory or support you financially in finding your own apartment.
Our Dessau plant is responsible for the maintenance of our electric locomotives and their components - from maintenance and repairs to overhaul and conversion. This also includes the maintenance center for transmissions and springs in Chemnitz.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:

You will become an expert in the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of our electric locomotives
You will ensure that our rail vehicles are always ready for use
