We are currently looking for full-time or part-time (at least 50%) health and (pediatric) nursing professionals or care specialists to join our surgical and orthopedic ward in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.


We are an innovative and growing children's hospital in the western part of Hamburg, Germany, dedicated to providing care for children and adolescents.

As a non-profit hospital with 252 beds, we are a subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and participate in the clinical education of students.

Each year, we treat around 15,000 inpatient and outpatient cases, with patients coming from all over Germany.


On our surgical and orthopedic ward, we provide care for elective and emergency patients of all ages, with extensive experience and specialization.

Our range of services includes newborn surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, and our spine center.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independent basic and treatment care (especially pre and postoperative care for elective and emergency patients)
  • Preparation and assistance with diagnostic and therapeutic measures (e.g. bandage changes and wound treatments)
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals (e.g. physiotherapists)
  • Support and involvement in nursing and organizational processes
  • Administrative tasks related to the treatment process

Your profile:

  • Completed training in health and (pediatric) nursing or as a care specialist
  • Professional experience in the mentioned field and in pediatrics is desirable
