Construction Accounting Associate
We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team.

With over 40 years in business, we are the largest and most stable painting contractor in the State of Florida.

We specialize in painting and waterproofing for new commercial buildings as well as remedial painting and waterproofing for high-rise condominiums, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Contract Administration_
Managing the contracts, change orders, NTOs, and a certificate of insurance on each project.

  • Create new projects in Sage 300 CRE
  • Set up contract online Job Files
  • Request Certificates of Insurance for each project
  • Maintain Notice to Owner logs and request Releases of Lien
  • Request Bonds for specific projects
  • Complete Pre-Qualification documents as required by the General Contractor
  • Contract process management and review for specific minimum guidelines
  • Accounts Receivable_
  • Enter monthly contract billings into Sage 300 CRE
  • Scan, send out, and file contract billings
  • Input, send out, scan, and file quick bills
  • Collections: Draft correspondence for pastdue accounts and follow up by contacting customers to request payment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Extremely organized, Detail oriented, and flexible
  • One year of construction accounting experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
  • Must be PC proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 CRE is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be able to work in a fastpaced environment

Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Salary range $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
