Duties:
- Prepare and set up bar for operation, including obtaining cash bank and stocking service bar.
- Maintain an adequate stock level by setting up storeroom and work area for easy access to stock items.
- Serve a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages to patrons and wait staff.
- Record sales, make change, and prepare charge slips.
- Keep bar and work area clean and sanitary.
- Identify and handle unruly or intoxicated patrons according to established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Conditions of Employment:
- Must have a valid Social Security Card and be able to receive direct deposit.
- Must meet all qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
- A oneyear probationary period may be required.
- Must pass a Tier 1 background investigation as part of the preemployment process.
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment and pass a preemployment physical.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Qualifications:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to mix drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer, and soda.
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change.
- Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.
Responsibility:
- Receives specific instructions for new or unusual assignments.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
