Sales Associate Requirements:

The sales associate position contributes to the stores success by ensuring customer service and store standards meeting company expectations.

All sales associates are expected to have comprehensive knowledge of sales associate level expectations for the sales floor, clienteling, cashiering, and inventory operations.

Sales associates report to all supervisors within the store (Key Holder, Assistant Manager, and Store & Local Brand Manager)


_Sales Associate duties include (but are not limited to):_

  • Acknowledging and assisting every customer in a friendly and welcoming manner; answering questions, locating merchandise, recommending styles, and assisting tryon sessions in the fitting rooms to ensure the entire customer experience is pleasant, engaging, and efficient.
  • Being knowledgeable and able to speak to all current promotions and sales that are utilized to positively impact revenue and benefit customers.
  • Having a comprehensive knowledge about the brand, fits, materials, and manufacturing of PAIGE garments.
  • Maintaining store visual standards throughout business hours by ensuring products are displayed neatly in their designated location, in size and color order, "finger" spaced, and that the store is clean and neat.
  • Performing cleaning and straightening duties required prior to store opening and following store closing, as directed by Manager on Duty.
  • Providing a friendly, accurate, and efficient transaction process for customers.
  • Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of the POS system, and having the ability to handle transactions in the event of the iPad, internet, and or debit/credit card read malfunction.
  • Receiving, and transferring shipments, including RTW's (Return to Warehouse)
  • Participating in scheduled inventory tasks, including store wide physical inventory counts.

_Required Qualifications:
_


  • Open availability on weekends
  • The availability to work at least 3 shifts per week
  • The availability to work up to 20 hours per week
  • The ability to work during Vacation Blackout Policy dates

Possibilities of Keyholder / Part Timer Roles:

The key holder is a leadership position that is responsible for ensuring that customer service and store standards meet company expectations.

All key holders will perform opening and closing managerial procedures and will serve as the manager on duty in lieu of a manager in the store.

All key holders are expected to possess leadership and managerial qualities, and to have mastered associate-level expectations for sales floor, clienteling, and operations.

Key holders report to the Assistant Manager and the Store & Local Brand Manager.

Key Holder duties include (but are not limited to):_

  • Setting an example of enthusiasm, knowledge, and understanding of the PAIGE brand image and product.
  • Ensuring the implementation of plans for meeting and exceeding sales targets, as communicated by store management.
  • Reinforcing the expectation of superior customer service as the top priority for all employees.
  • Maintaining a professional environment that is motivated, positive, friendly, helpful, and productive.
  • Delegating responsibilities and holding employees accountable for meeting productivity expectations.
  • Ensuring all requirements necessary to open and close the store are performed accurately each day.
  • Being accountable for the store's appearance, standards, and adherence to HQ visuals direction.
  • Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of the POS system, and having the ability to handle transactions in the event of an iPad, internet, and or debit/credit card reader malfunction.
  • Maintaining a replenished and fullystock sales floor.
