The BGH Edelstahlwerke GmbH - a company of the BGH Group - is looking for a purchaser (m/f/d) with a focus on raw materials at its location in Freital (Greater Dresden area) from or earlier. The purchaser will be responsible for the procurement of raw materials, among other tasks.

The BGH Group produces stainless steel and special alloys for the highest and most modern demands in a very wide range of products.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Independent purchase/sale of scrap, metals, substitutions
  • Purchase of drawing parts
  • Handling of purchasing projects, from obtaining offers to invoice processing
  • Market observation regarding prices, availability, and new developments for the responsible product area
  • Independent management of the existing supplier network
  • Negotiation of framework orders and prices with suppliers
  • Analysis of capacity and demand planning together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Identification of potential cost savings and implementation of cost reduction measures
