For our client, an international automotive manufacturer in the Stuttgart area, we are currently filling the following position:

Homologation Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive

YOUR TASK PROFILE

  • You prepare the type approval for vehicles with a focus on drive, range, exhaust, consumption and emissions
  • You are also responsible for interpreting the current laws for the aforementioned areas
  • You also support in creating test plans, including preparation, coordination and tracking of activities within the type approval process
  • You continuously coordinate and update the completed tests with internal project departments, technical testing services and approval authorities
  • You are responsible for managing deadlines and tracking the necessary approvals worldwide
  • As a contact person, you are responsible for answering questions about type approval or technical releases from testing services, approval authorities, subsidiaries and importers for all markets

YOUR QUALIFICATION PROFILE

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or electrical engineering
  • Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification with relevant experience
  • You also have several years of professional experience in a similar position
