We are looking for you as a support specialist (m/f/d) for our outpatient living facility in Nidda, Centerville, IA:

The Wetteraukreis gGmbH for people with disabilities (bhw) promotes, supports, and accompanies people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. Social participation, vocational qualification, and integration into the general job market are essential goals of the company.

In addition to workshops for people with disabilities and day care centers, a kindergarten for children with and without support needs, we also operate various forms of housing throughout the Wetteraukreis.

Approximately 250 people live there.


Your future responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for assisting and guiding people with disabilities in an outpatient setting.
  • You will support and promote these individuals according to their needs, taking into account their individual wishes, habits, and selfdetermination.
  • You will provide the designated pedagogical support services according to the help and support planning.
  • You will accompany and plan daily activities, as well as organize and lead leisure activities.
