With the degree program in Business Informatics, students will be prepared for independent tasks in the field of information processing or business management after completing their studies.

They are creative process designers and process managers at the interface between business and information technology. They design and implement infrastructures of information systems based on the latest technologies and apply them to business issues.

Business informaticians combine innovative information technologies with the business world.

The program provides in-depth knowledge in business areas such as materials management, production and logistics, process management, organization, marketing, accounting, and controlling.

Another focus is on applied computer science, covering topics such as programming, systems analysis, operating systems, database systems, computer networks, internet, and multimedia.


Possible specializations include:

  • Process Engineering & Digital Management
  • Computer Science for Financial Service Providers
  • Administrative Informatics
  • IT Risk Management and Auditing
The three-year program ends with 210 ECTS points and the academic degree Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
