Family businesses in Germany are the driving force behind progress, prosperity, and employment. More than 90 percent of all companies in Germany are family businesses. Their framework is subject to strong change. The "Foundation for Family Business and Politics" is the contact for politics in economic, legal, and tax issues. It also serves as a service provider for family businesses. To strengthen our small team in the "House of Family Business" at Pariser Platz in the long term, we are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible:

Expert in Tax and Economic Policy (m/f/d) (full-time)

Main tasks

As part of the tax and financial policy teams, you will advocate for the interests of large family businesses towards politics and administration and maintain professional exchange with academic organizations.
You will analyze and evaluate economic and tax policy legislative procedures at the state, federal, and EU level and have initial experience in this area.
You will write position papers and articles for trade journals as well as statements on current issues, if necessary, even under time pressure.
You will implement event formats.
You will support in organizing and conducting expert circles and working groups, as well as economic and tax policy events.
You will actively contribute to campaigns with legal and tax policy objectives.
