Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for accepting payment for food and beverages and making proper change for guests and colleagues. He/she also assists the Host/Hostess in promptly greeting and seating all guests and supporting servers as needed.

Responsibilities:

Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Comply with company standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
Operate the credit card machine and handle cash transactions accurately.
Assist in providing a pleasant dining experience for guests by attending to their needs.
Have a thorough knowledge of menus, take reservations, and communicate effectively over the phone.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and make quick decisions.
Effective in multitasking and problem-solving.
Ability to anticipate needs and meet deadlines.
Skilled in handling financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
