What You Will Do

  • Administer RTX inservice employee death benefit process
  • Serve as the point of contact to the beneficiary and surviving family member(s)
  • Coordinate the process for across RTX teams including HR, People Services and external vendors
  • Oversee process and activities to ensure deliverables are completed and service levels are met
  • Meet with team members to administer process and resolve issues
  • Establish feedback cadence to key stakeholders
  • Escalate issues and process delays, as necessary
  • Ensure tasks are done accurately and on time
  • Continual process improvement to enhance and streamline process
  • Enhance standard work to provide playbook on employee death benefit process
  • Other People Services projects and duties, as assigned
  • Approximately 5% travel domestically (as required)

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or An Advance Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • 4+ years of experience with benefit operations and / or HR generalist
  • 2+ years of previous experience working with vendors
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Experience with high touch customer servicerelated processes

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Advanced excel (pivot tables, charts, analytics) and data analytics skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with various levels in the organization and surviving family member(s). Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and process focused with strong attention to detail and the ability hold teams accountable. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while managing timelines and expectations
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross functional teams with the ability to influence and deliver results. Ability to create strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders
  • Strong HR service delivery skills and Project Management experience

Work Location

Hybrid**:
Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
