1385 N Weber Rd, Romeoville, IL 6044- Responsible for the loading and unloading of materials within a warehouse.
Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
Records flow information of materials and products and ensures the accuracy. May assist in the training of lower level material handlers.- Your responsibilities and tasks:- Job Overview:
You will use various equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, and conveyors, to manage the movement of goods within our storage facility.
This position also involves maintaining accurate records and helping train new team members.Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
- Operate different types of material handling equipment, including Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, High-Lifts, and Forklifts
- Unload incoming shipments and check for order accuracy
- Prepare and stage orders for outbound shipments
- Verify outbound orders for accuracy
- Load trailers with products for delivery
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Your profile and qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience operating Reach Trucks
- Familiarity with RF Scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or SAP
- Ability to read and write in English
- Good math skills
- Experience handling chemicals is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
