Your tasks:


  • Management of a residential complex where 16 people with intellectual/physical disabilities and varying support needs and other impairments live
  • Leadership and organization (e.g. duty roster, vacation) of employees with professional and supervisory responsibilities
  • You represent the residential complex in regional committees and coordinate networking in the social environment
  • You are responsible for ensuring the individual support needs of the residents and strengthening their participation opportunities in the areas of living and leisure
  • You take responsibility for and ensure proper management of the cash budget and personal funds

Your profile:


Requirements for the position:


  • At least 2 years of professional experience in supporting and caring for people with intellectual disabilities
  • You have completed training as a special needs educator, educator, health and nursing professional, or have a degree in social pedagogy (m/f/d)

Desirable qualifications:


  • Additional qualification with a business background
  • Ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to undergo further training for facility management
  • Good knowledge of social and integration assistance as well as the North Rhine-Westphalia Housing and Participation Act
  • Professional personal development through targeted participation in training and further education
