JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Continuously improve our robotic systems
  • Maintain a fleet of quadrotors and a set of robot demos
  • Set up and conduct experiments in the lab and in the field
  • Review code, optimize code, and implement new features
  • Fulltime position, but parttime applicants will be considered
  • Work on project LINA, a hightech testing infrastructure for autonomous systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in German or Swiss German (C1-C2 level) and familiarity with the Swiss working system
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of C++ and Python
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Ability to work in an organized and independent manner
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Bonus: experience with Robot Operating System (ROS)
  • Bonus: knowledge of FPV quadrotor hardware and firmware
  • Bonus: experience piloting RC aircraft
