- The General Superintendent will manage all field operations, supervising and mentoring a team of 10-15 Superintendents. This role is crucial in delivering the highest quality work, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction, a proven track record in managing high-end projects, and the ability to lead multiple projects averaging $10-25 million.
- Oversee and direct all field operations and staff to ensure high-quality work.
- Train, supervise, and mentor field staff to maintain superior work standards.
- Provide OSHA-compliant safety training and ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols.
- Onboard and train new field staff in company procedures and standards.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, each averaging $20 million.
- Foster a positive work environment that exemplifies our Core Values.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing an exceptional client experience.
- Utilize project management software for scheduling and tracking project progress.
- Minimum: High school diploma
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering
- Over 10 years of experience as a superintendent in residential construction, with a focus on luxury custom homes.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Proficiency in computer-based scheduling and project management software (e.g., Procore, Outlook, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in hiring, training, and mentoring construction field staff.
- Experience in luxury building and working with high-end clientele.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive and travel to different job sites.
- Occasionally climb ladders.
- Proficient time and schedule management skills.
