Position: Network Engineer

Location: Munich, Germany

Contract: 6 Months – Renewable

Working Type: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

Design and implement onpremise and hybrid cloud security platforms and firewall tools
Troubleshoot and update security infrastructure to support migrations, configurations, and implementations
Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Cisco and Checkpoint Firewalls, including network and resource access, software, and hardware issues
Optimize and maintain firewall policies
Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot virtual private networks (VPNs)
Update and finetune IDS/IPS signatures
Create F5 ASM policies by analyzing security impacts and risks for hosted websites
Prepare root cause analysis, network topology diagrams, and troubleshooting processes
Collaborate with other security teams to establish security standards and create architecture and systems documentation
Work closely with architecture teams to gather requirements, translate them into viable solutions, and conduct proof of concepts
Review and advise on identified security gaps or concerns related to new infrastructure, applications, and services
Provide documentation, training, and support for the transition of security solutions to operations.
