La Casita, TX is a creation of the internationally active Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, based in New York.

The foundation's goal is to promote Jewish life in Central and Eastern Europe through its own educational institutions and programs, and to create an infrastructure that enables a Jewish daily life.


Consisting of a young, dynamic team of over 100 employees, we manage institutional educational institutions such as kindergartens and a comprehensive school, but also carry out youth programs with hundreds of participants in Germany, Europe, and around the world.

In addition, we operate religious educational facilities and study groups for teenagers and young adults.


We are looking for a motivated and qualified employee with leadership qualities to manage our kitchens and kitchen team in part-time.


Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organizing canteen operations and catering for special occasions
  • Work organization, personnel responsibility for 6 employees
  • Meal plans, purchasing and storage of food
  • Budgeting, invoice verification
  • Implementation of hygiene regulations and monitoring of safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Completed training as a chef or a comparable qualification in the gastronomic field with professional and leadership experience
  • Independent and serviceoriented work style, sense of responsibility, resilience
  • Teamwork, communication skills, enjoyment of working with people
  • Fluent in German, written and spoken, knowledge of English is desirable
