Our client is a well-established medium-sized company in the field of medical technology with global activities.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be the contact person for strategic purchasing topics for the departments: production, technology and quality
  • You will work in cross-functional teams in purchasing and development projects, up to taking over project management
  • You will conduct situation and potential analyses for relevant procurement markets in terms of products, services and technologies
  • You will develop and implement procurement strategies in the responsible product groups
  • You will be responsible for achieving and optimizing purchasing goals
  • You will actively participate in the selection and evaluation of suppliers
  • You will negotiate terms and framework agreements with national and international suppliers
  • You will develop department-specific KPIs and ongoing action planning for their optimization

Your profile:

  • You have a successful degree or training in engineering, business administration or a similar field
  • You have several years of experience in comparable areas of responsibility
  • You have a high level of technical and commercial understanding
  • You have extensive experience working with ERP and MS Office systems
  • You have strong analytical thinking and strategic foresight
  • You have teamwork skills, communication skills and negotiation skills
  • You have fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form
