About the position:

Conducting daily cash management for bank accounts (inhouse and foreign currencies)
Placing and monitoring foreign exchange orders to secure currency needs
Preparing FX (Foreign Exchange) and liquidity reports
Creating balance sheets and cash flow plans (monthly forecasts and annual budget) including commentary and reporting
Analyzing variances (forecast vs. actual, budget vs. actual, etc.) for forecasts and budgets, and providing commentary and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Preparing external trade reports for authorities (e.g. completing reporting forms for the German Federal Bank) and handling inquiries
Acting as a point of contact for external and internal stakeholders on treasury matters and responding to inquiries (e.g. from auditors)
Technically reviewing and initiating payment orders in various banking systems
Administering account openings and integrations into banking systems; setting up and managing bank authorizations
Participating in treasury projects, such as developing and optimizing existing forecast instruments and processes

About you:

Successfully completed studies with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting, or a comparable education
Previous experience in controlling, treasury, or accounting is desirable
Ability to think across topics, such as between balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
Strong analytical skills
Independent and structured way of working, as well as ability to work under pressure
Excellent MS Office skills (especially MS Excel) and knowledge of
