The Supervisor functions as an expert resource in advanced systems analysis for staff and users to assist in complex problem troubleshooting and resolution.
The Supervisor identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness and constantly ensures that all team members are working at the top of their skills and knowledge.
The Supervisor effectively partners with operational colleagues to ensure successful organizational change management, adoption of solutions, and value realization.The Supervisor will also work within appropriate governance structures to determine system requirements, process re-engineering issues, and solution design and implementation strategies.
Problems encountered are of a high degree of complexity and difficulty and require exceptional analytical skills, innovation, and creativity to formulate and implement the mechanisms to identify and solve problems.
The Supervisor develops and sustains consultative, trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to a learning environment and a learning health system, across the UW Health.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum:
- Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years combination of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below)
Preferred:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field is highly preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Minimum:

Various Microsoft and Citrix Certifications
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large scale solutions including some experience leading without direct authority.
- Demonstrate success in coaching and mentoring Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams in a 24x7 origination
- Demonstrate success implementing and managing large, complex, enterpriseclass solutions.
- Demonstrated success using effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead others directly or indirectly
- Demonstrated success being proactive and innovative
Preferred:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in a Healthcare setting.
- Five (5) years of VDI and SCCM support experience
- Five (5) years of experience performing system administration and engineering

- Citrix and VDI Infrastructure design, maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Windows server and workstation management and networking
- Network infrastructure components and concepts
- Knowledge of Scripting and registry editor
- Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) management and deployment
- Expert in Virtual Management Environment
- Understanding infrastructure cybersecurity components and concepts
- Nutanix knowledge
- VMWare ESX knowledge
- Understanding design and implementation for disaster recovery
