Description

As a strategic purchaser for the hydraulic product group, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing innovative procurement strategies that enable the customer to increase their competitiveness and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to save costs and strengthen the supply chain
Identify and qualify potential suppliers and conduct the request process up to final contract and price negotiations
Monitor and analyze the procurement market to identify opportunities for optimization in terms of costs and supplier performance
Conduct regular supplier evaluations and initiate necessary corrective measures to ensure optimal performance
Work closely with internal departments to meet company requirements for the responsible material groups
Establish and maintain supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and favorable conditions

Qualifications

Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a comparable degree program with a strong technical understanding
Extensive professional experience in international strategic procurement
In-depth understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and procurement law
Analytical thinking skills and the ability to understand complex relationships and implement them in practical solutions
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
