It offers three specialized departments:
oncology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology.

The clinic is operated by REGIOMED REHA-Klinik Masserberg gGmbH, which has been part of the REGIOMED-KLINIKEN GmbH health network since March 1, 2019.

This network is a joint venture of the districts of Hildburghausen, Lichtenfels, Sonneberg, and the Coburg Hospital Association, and is the first and only cross-state network in Germany to be run by local authorities.
