About us:
We are currently seeking a Control Room Operator for Progroup Power 1 GmbH in South Haven. As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating equipment components and emission data.

You will also be responsible for conducting start-up and shut-down procedures, adjusting equipment performance to meet the needs and requirements of the paper machine within specified limits, and identifying and responding to critical operating conditions.

Additionally, you will be responsible for informing the shift supervisor and subsequent shift leaders of any issues, deviations from normal operations, and opportunities for optimization.

You will also be responsible for detecting and addressing malfunctions to ensure safe operation, conducting clearance procedures and start-ups, and documenting all shift activities, including any notable events, deviations, and malfunctions in the shift log.

You will also communicate with shift personnel regarding all aspects of equipment operation.
