Description

At the Birkenfeld (Neubrücke) location of the University of Applied Sciences Trier, the following permanent position will be available from September 1, 2024:
Human Resources Officer

The position is limited to half of the average regular weekly working hours (19.5 hours/week).

The salary is based on pay group 8 of the collective agreement for public service employees of the federal states (TV-L).

Responsibilities

The tasks include timekeeping for TV-L employees (vacation, special leave, work leave, further education leave, illness, parental leave, maternity leave, on-call duty, overtime), the supervision of a defined group of student and academic assistants, processing applications for teaching assignments and guest lectures, as well as handling incoming and outgoing mail.

Qualifications

Successfully completed vocational training as a public administration clerk or a comparable degree (Angestelltenprüfung I), successfully completed commercial training

Good computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications, as well as willingness to learn additional programs

Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, discretion, teamwork, and flexibility

Knowledge in the areas
