Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for all departments of the Saurer Group as well as external parties in all patent matters
  • Independent execution of IP searches (such as novelty, FTO, invalidity searches) as well as literature searches and coordination of external search orders
  • Analysis and evaluation of search results and presentation of findings
  • IP monitoring and reporting
  • Consulting and support for all departments in matters of intellectual property and assistance in utilizing existing patent tools
  • Support for IP administration and general office organization

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical or scientific university degree, completed technical/commercial training with professional experience, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably experience with patent searches or in the field of patent law
  • High affinity for working with software programs such as IP search tools (Depatisnet, Espacenet, Patbase/PatSnap, TMView, etc.) and patent management programs (PatInform/PatOrg) and their configuration for information retrieval
  • Reliable, timely, and structured work style, with initiative and independent and responsible handling of tasks
  • Confident demeanor and enjoyment of working in a team
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English
