We are currently looking for a permanent Project Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in signaling and digital interlocking technology for project management of infrastructure projects at DB Netz AG in Erfurt.

You will be responsible for highly demanding construction and planning projects in the field of new and modernization of signaling systems / electronic interlockings at the Röblingen and Sangerhausen train stations, as well as other exciting projects.

Your tasks:

  • As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project management of transportation infrastructure projects with a focus on railway signaling technology (LST) - your expertise will cover all currently used technical platforms, from electromechanics to electronic interlockings and digital technology
  • Our projects involve the use of ETCS and digital interlocking technology. You are familiar with the new technologies and interfaces to the digital train radio GSM-R
  • You will be responsible for projects from preliminary planning to project completion, ensuring that deadlines are met, costs are kept within budget, and quality is maintained - you will always have the most important success factors and risks in mind and develop countermeasures if necessary
