The Compliance Analyst role will support the development and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive and sustainable compliance program for the GCS Line of Business Compliance Small Business Lending & Pricing team.

Reporting into the GCS Compliance Director, the role will also provide regulatory compliance support and guidance for the GCS business in its growth plans and development of new initiatives.


How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Support implementation of policy and regulatory requirements in the areas of banking and credit card practices, consumer protection, privacy, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and provide guidance to the business on marketing collateral, sales materials, procedures and training.
  • Support development and ongoing maintenance of the Compliance program of the GCS business.
  • Liaise as required with the relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to: internal Independent Compliance Testing team, General Counsel's Organization, Operational Risk and Control, and Privacy Office.
  • Effectively manage the Compliance Issue Management process to ensure appropriate decisioning of Compliance Issues, timely closure of gaps and customer remediation where required.
  • Participate in the Compliance Risk Assessment process to ensure that all applicable laws and regulations are mapped to the applicable business processes and evaluate the strength of the control environment.
  • Assist ongoing activities related to compliance risk management in GCS, including the Third-Party Life Cycle Management.
  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audit reviews, Compliance monitoring and testing, and related efforts.
  • Support team in providing regular status reporting for sharing with compliance leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Additional responsibilities based on team needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Selfmotivated, energetic team player with proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with all levels of management.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Interest in, and openness to learn about GCS, regulatory requirements, and the compliance program.
  • Experience working in a regulatory Compliance environment.
  • Basic understanding of global financial regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Global Commercial Services business
  • Ability to understand legal and regulatory concepts and convert them into relevant, practical business requirements and compliance solutions.
  • Proven ability to build rapport, garner respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative environment.
  • Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with management.
  • Ability to identify and understand key risks, issues, and trends and to develop meaningful information to be shared with leadership.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a highly deadlineintensive environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Salary Range:
$55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
