    Position Summary:
  • Carlyle Private Credit seeks to hire an Associate to serve as a key member of the Carlyle Private Credit Portfolio Management team which focuses on monitoring Private Credit portfolio companies, liability management across the platform, valuations, portfolio level risk and performance attribution analysis, public company reporting requirements, and overall business management processes. This role will provide the Associate with significant interaction with key senior management internally as well as growing external exposure to key parties including investors, lenders, ratings agencies and thirdparty valuation firms. Associate will develop both their business management acumen and credit skills in a teamoriented, fastpaced work environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Proactive management of various credit facilities by tracking portfolio investments, borrowing bases, credit line triggers and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Private Credit team to understand potential weaknesses in the portfolio and forecasting potential trigger events and cushion levels within each credit facility.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Global Technology Solutions, Operations and Fund Management to maintain and enhance a database of key investment metrics (both positionlevel and company/fundlevel)
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of various reporting requirements for key investors, lender partners and ratings agencies
  • Perform analysis of key investment valuations, issues and risks and assist with communicating results to various internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with cross platform teams to facilitate closing/funding of new and existing investments
  • Various fundraising and investor relationship projects as the business continues to grow

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 25 years of portfolio/fund management experience in the direct lending or private credit space
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience managing large data sets a plus
  • Comfort with analyzing legal documents including credit agreements, LPAs and knowledge of loan securitizations is a plus

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
