In the Department IV of the University of Trier (Department of Sociology, Chair of Sociology with a focus on Economic Sociology, Prof. Dr.

Andrea Maurer), the following position will be filled on or later by arrangement):

Research Assistant (m/f/d)

(E 13 TV-L, 100%, limited for qualification according to WissZeitVG (doctorate or habilitation)

for a period of 3 years)

Your tasks

In addition to participating in the research activities of the chair, the tasks include independently taking on administrative tasks, in particular conducting courses in BA and/or Master's programs, as well as pursuing further qualification (doctorate or habilitation).

Your profile
The requirements for employment are based on - 57 para. 2 and 3 HochSchG,

A particularly aboveaverage completed university degree in sociology or social sciences (Master's, diploma or equivalent)
A strong interest in economic sociological topics and theoretical questions
Good knowledge of methods of empirical social research
Very good German and good English skills
