The Olympic Training Center Saxony is currently seeking a person for a temporary position at the Oberwiesenthal location to cover a parental leave.

The responsibilities for this position include:

Sports physiotherapy (75% parttime)
The Olympic Training Center (OTC) Saxony is a support and service facility for elite sports in Germany, primarily for the Saxony region, but also for national events organized by the national sports associations and international sports events.
Its tasks include providing highquality support for elite athletes in the areas of performance diagnostics, sports science, sports physiotherapy, sports psychology, sports nutrition, career counseling, athletic training, and sports medicine.
The role of sports physiotherapy includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
Conducting regenerative measures during training and competitions
Independent treatment of junior and elite athletes from the national team, including rehabilitation after injuries
Implementation of preventive (sportspecific) training programs for injury prevention (partly in collaboration with coaches and sports scientists)
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a physiotherapist
DOSB license "Sports Physiotherapy" (if not available, willingness to obtain it in a timely manner); at least successful completion of a DOSBrecognized basic course in sports physiotherapy
Further training in "Manual Therapy"
