The first year of apprenticeship is the basic training year, which the apprentices spend at the IHK-Bildungshaus in Remshalden-Grunbach.

Training content in the first year:

Basics of metal technology, turning, milling
PLC technology programmable logic controllers
Pneumatics and electropneumatics
GRAFCET

From the second year of apprenticeship, the apprentices continue their training in the company.

Schedule / Training content from the second year:

Projects and exams
Training on machine tools with internship in the demo center
Support of the service department

The minimum requirement is a good secondary school leaving certificate. An advanced educational qualification in the technical field is advantageous, but not necessarily required.

Grades in mathematics, physics, German, and English should be at least 3.0 or better.

Potential candidates have an open, communicative nature and enjoy working with customers and colleagues in a team. Willingness to learn and take initiative are also important requirements.
