The training as a Media Technologist Printing (m/f/d) lasts for 3 years and is carried out in a dual system between the training company and vocational school.

The school-based part of the training takes place as block lessons at the vocational school in Leipzig.

Work area:

Media Technologists Printing (m/f/d) work in companies in the printing trade and printing industry, such as: * Commercial printers * Newspaper printers * Packaging printers * Continuous and form printers * Wallpaper printers * Digital printers You will learn these skills: * Setting up sheet and web offset printing machines * Controlling the printing process * Printing multi-colored commercial prints, advertising materials, newspapers, magazines or packaging * Conducting measuring and testing activities within the framework of quality management * Working in a customer-oriented manner Requirements for the training: * At least a good secondary school leaving certificate (German 2, Math 2) * Technical interest/understanding * Good eyesight, strong color vision * Sense of responsibility * Good reaction time * Willingness to work in shifts We offer: * Above-average training allowance * 1st year: 1,090.00 EUR, 2nd year: 1,170.00 EUR, 3rd year: 1,250.
