Our Profile:

The Institute of Control Engineering, under the direction of Prof.

Dirk Abel, is located in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and represents the fields of control and automation engineering.

It sees itself as a mediator between control theory and the diverse application areas of control and automation engineering.

In addition to providing fundamental education in teaching, the focus of our research lies in the fields of mechanical engineering, vehicle, process, energy, and medical technology.

We also research and develop control engineering methods necessary for practical problem solving. Within the "Mobility" group, we are currently establishing a focus on safe and efficient mobility in cycling. This is intended to become a pillar of our institute's work in the long term. For this purpose, a modern bicycle simulator is also being set up at the institute.

Your Profile:

As the tasks to be carried out are very diverse, you will need the following qualities:

Completed bachelor's degree and enrolled student in a consecutive technical degree program (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, etc.)
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Interest and experience in website creation
Good communication
