Description

At our company in Danville, you will learn how to install laminate, hardwood, carpet, and vinyl - design flooring.

In theory, you will learn about different types of flooring and materials, practice calculations, create quotes and invoices, technical drawing, quality control, and workplace safety.

In practice, you will cut and install flooring, prepare subfloors, sand and treat installed floors, weld and fuse flooring, measure rooms and calculate material needs, create sound and heat insulation, clean and maintain floors, and interact with customers and architects.

Our ideal candidate has a good high school diploma, decent grades in math and shop class, is dedicated and flexible, physically capable and adaptable, has good manual dexterity, spatial reasoning skills, and an understanding of technical processes.
