Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at the Greven or Münster location in Glenbeulah.
Your responsibilities:

You are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
The focus of your work is on electronic components, such as signals, switches, and signal boxes, but you will also learn about mechanical components
You will mostly work in a team, independently and reliably, in your regional area
You will maintain electrical indoor and outdoor facilities, but your main work will be outdoors
In addition, your tasks will include troubleshooting and creating and forwarding fault reports for track systems
Your work will begin and end at your central base - here you will pick up all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, as well as the vehicle

Your profile:

You have successfully completed training in electrical engineering, for example as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist, industrial electrician, or automation technician
After comprehensive training, you are ready to participate in the rotating on-call duty
You don't mind working outdoors
You have the necessary commitment and willingness to learn to go through internal qualification
