JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conducting ultrasonic testing (NDT) on thermoplastic components in the production of CFRP parts in Bremen, Spivey, KS.
  • Planning, scheduling, and performing extensive inspections.
  • Evaluating measurement results, documenting them, and making decisions on their usability.
  • Optimizing testing procedures, determining testing methods, scope, and parameters.
  • Setting up and adjusting testing equipment and monitoring testing procedures.
  • Creating standard reports, such as quality reports and requests for construction deviations.
  • Taking measures to address any defects.
  • Conducting training for production employees (selfinspectors).
  • Archiving test results, protocols, and reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of specialized vocational training as a skilled worker, as well as a technician/master or equivalent qualification acquired through other means.
  • Experience in ultrasonic testing processes (training according to EN4179 UT2, including experience time).
  • Experience in part production processes.
  • Very good and extensive knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Communication skills, flexibility, quick comprehension, teamwork, conflict management, strong sense of responsibility, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Google applications.
