As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing the development and optimization of new and upcoming charging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating hardware using tools such as Altium Designer (KiCAD optional).
- Conducting circuit simulations using LTSpice, PSpice, and other relevant software.
- Performing comprehensive tests on both new and existing hardware components.
- Identifying and troubleshooting performance issues to improve system functionality.
- Following industry-standard processes and procedures throughout the development life cycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer for at least 2 years.
- In-depth understanding of power electronics design principles and common architectures.
- Familiarity with various communication interfaces such as RS485, UART, I2C, USB, etc.
- Experience with layout of mixed signal boards and basic EMC/EMI principles.
- Located in Portland and able to effectively communicate in English.
- Basic proficiency in embedded programming with C
