Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Writing nonscientific publications for the Cochrane Germany Foundation on topics related to evidencebased healthcare
  • Assisting in writing articles for the blog "WissenWasWirkt" and our social media channels
  • Editing and taking editorial responsibility
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the publication and communication strategy of the Cochrane Germany Foundation
  • Handling external inquiries from journalists

Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree in medicine or natural sciences (Master, Magister or Diploma) with additional qualifications in science or medical journalism
  • Relevant professional experience in science communication
  • Enjoyment in writing various types of texts on a wide range of topics
  • Experience in dealing with press and media representatives
  • Interest in the work of Cochrane and the methodology of evidence synthesis
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team
  • Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
