As a Summerfield programmer, you will be responsible for:

Developing, testing, and optimizing the calculation of real estate financing for the Sparkassen Finanzgruppe on our financing platform

Creating interfaces to core banking systems for Sparkassen and Bausparkassen to drive digitalization

Building complex software using Java (Spring Framework) and Groovy

Deploying the software in our own data center and increasingly in AWS with Kubernetes

Working in a test-driven environment with unit tests

Following open-source development principles with code reviews and pull requests

Requirements:

Technical expertise: You have a strong knowledge of Java, Groovy, git, Maven or Gradle, and IntelliJ

Nice to have: You have some experience with Typescript and Angular and have ideally worked in the FinTech industry before

Agile work experience: You have previous experience working in an agile environment and are familiar with Jira
