We are looking for a Deputy Head of Care (m/f/d) for our House Heilig Geist in Dozier, AL starting on June 1st, 2024.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Performing basic and medical care as well as supporting and instructing our residents
  • Digital documentation of care
  • Being a contact person for residents, their relatives, and caregivers
  • Contributing to ensuring care and support standards, nursing expertise, and continuous quality assurance and improvement
  • Assisting with biographical care planning processes
  • Transparent communication with all parties involved in care and support (e.g. case discussions, attending meetings)
  • Personnel management and shift planning in the absence of the Head of Care
  • Contributing to the management of the living area (use and procurement of resources, data collection, reporting, etc.)

You convince us with:


  • Completed training as a nursing professional, nurse, (pediatric) nurse, geriatric nurse, or nursing specialist
  • Planned, ongoing, or successfully completed qualification as a responsible nursing professional, ward manager, or head of care according to §71 SGB XI
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Confidence
  • Gender and culturally sensitive awareness
