Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.


In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women's trauma unit.


The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

  • Assists with the completion of interviews, evaluations and hiring of EVS staff.
  • Conducts new EVS staff orientation.
  • Conducts EVS staff scheduling.
  • Conducts inventory control and supply ordering to ensure that the EVS team has the necessary tools and supplies to perform their daily tasks.
  • Provides oversight to help schedule and coordinate the thirdparty cleaning for urgent requests from ancillary departments.
  • Manages the chemical inventory list for the EVS department and ensures all SDS sheets are up to date.
  • Performs routine checks/inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure that the building is safe, clean and well maintained.
  • Assemble records and analyze them for completeness.

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of prior environmental services experience with 5 years in a supervisory setting in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting preferred.
