What does a specialist for warehouse logistics do?

Some typical tasks include:

  • Receiving and checking goods based on accompanying documents
  • Organizing unloading, sorting, and proper storage in predetermined locations
  • Ensuring and verifying optimal storage conditions
  • Planning delivery and shipping methods for outgoing goods
  • Preparing shipments and packaging goods
  • Creating accompanying documents, delivery notes, and customs declarations
  • Loading trucks, operating forklifts, and securing loads
  • Optimizing warehouse logistics and other projects to improve material flow
  • Comparing offers and verifying invoices

During your training, you will learn all the necessary skills and how to apply them in practice. The goal of the training is to be able to perform all tasks independently or as part of a team.

Your training path

Training duration: 3 years

Dual training in the company and at the vocational school in Kehl. Weekly rotation between 1-2 days at school and 3-4 days at the company, with a 5-day work week (Mon-Fri)

Intermediate examination in the 2nd year, final examination at the end of the 3rd year
