THE POSITION:


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


  • The Administrative Officer 2 is responsible for the daytoday administrative programs and functions as the lead customer service initiative for Office of Agency Operations through development and implementation of processes and metrics

Key duties will include:

  • Serves as the department's program coordinator for various Agency and Commonwealth programs such as the Travel, Corporate Cards, Parking, and Records Retention.
  • You will also provides support to other department administrative programs including telework and timekeeping.
  • Oversees the implementation and administration of a department wide facilities and project management ticketing system.
  • Ensures continuation of department's critical business functions through Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
  • Serves as a DOS cyber facilities and internal employee transactions administrator by maintaining the department's online facilities presence, utilizing SharePoint and Microsoft Automation Systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with 60minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time generally 2 days per week based on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • One year as an Administrative Officer 1;
    or
  • Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree;
    or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:


  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
